
This course provides learners with fundamental knowledge and practical skills in fish farming (aquaculture). It covers the principles of fish production, site selection, pond construction and management, fish species identification, stocking, feeding practices, water quality management, disease prevention and control, harvesting techniques, and marketing of fish products. Learners will explore sustainable fish farming practices aimed at improving productivity, profitability, and environmental conservation.
By the end of the course, learners will be able to plan, establish, manage, and evaluate a fish farming enterprise while applying best practices in aquaculture production.
